01 Scope
This policy describes how Sun Capital FX executes orders on your behalf for Forex, CFDs, and cryptocurrency derivatives. It applies to retail and professional clients whose orders are transmitted via our VertexFX platform or MT4/MT5 terminals.
02 Best Execution Factors
When executing your order, we consider the following factors in order of priority:
- Price — the best available bid/ask at the moment of execution;
- Speed — filling your order in the shortest possible time;
- Likelihood of execution and settlement — ensuring the order actually fills;
- Size and nature — how order size affects liquidity access;
- Costs — spreads, commissions, and any venue fees;
- Any specific instructions from you.
Where you provide a specific instruction, we execute strictly as instructed — which may result in a different outcome than our standard best-execution approach.
03 Execution Venues
Your orders are routed to a combination of Tier-1 liquidity providers, ECNs, and our internal matching engine. Our primary execution hub is colocated at Equinix NY4 with backup infrastructure at LD4 (London) and TY3 (Tokyo).
| Asset Class | Venue Type | Avg. Latency |
|---|---|---|
| FX majors | Aggregated ECN + Tier-1 banks | <10 ms |
| FX minors | Aggregated ECN | <15 ms |
| Metals | Tier-1 LP | <12 ms |
| Indices CFDs | Derived from futures | <20 ms |
| Crypto CFDs | Aggregated crypto venues | <30 ms |
04 Order Types
We support the following order types:
- Market — filled immediately at the best available price;
- Limit — filled at your specified price or better;
- Stop — triggered when price reaches your level, then filled at market;
- Stop-Limit — triggered by a stop, then subject to a limit price;
- Take Profit / Stop Loss — attached exits for risk management.
05 Slippage and Requotes
During volatile markets, orders may be filled at a different price from the one requested. This is slippage. We do not requote — your order either fills at the best available price or is rejected.
Slippage occurs most frequently:
- Around major economic data releases (NFP, CPI, FOMC);
- At market open or close;
- During cryptocurrency exchange outages or blockchain congestion.
06 Order Rejection
We may reject an order if:
- Insufficient margin is available;
- The order size exceeds available liquidity;
- You are in breach of your Client Agreement;
- Regulatory restrictions apply;
- Technical failures prevent execution.
07 Execution Speed
Our average execution latency is under 10 milliseconds from order submission to fill confirmation. During extreme volatility this may extend. We publish monthly execution statistics in your client portal.
08 Client Instructions
If you give us specific instructions about how to execute your order, we will follow those instructions. However, specific instructions may prevent us from achieving best execution on other factors.
09 Monitoring and Review
We continuously monitor execution quality using independent third-party analytics. Key metrics reviewed include:
- Slippage vs. reference price;
- Fill rates;
- Order-to-fill latency;
- Venue performance and reliability.
This policy is reviewed at least annually and updated when material changes occur.
